The Magnetic Buffer System (MBS) is a next-generation recoil management solution, combining patented Frytech Technology with enhanced spring engineering to deliver superior shooting performance for the AR15 platform.
Traditional buffer systems rely solely on round-wire compression springs—functional, but not optimized for peak performance. The MBS takes a hybrid approach, using staggered magnetic fields alongside precision-tuned springs to dramatically reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise.
By staging magnetic resistance, the MBS absorbs bolt carrier inertia in multiple phases—each calibrated for the mass and velocity of your specific caliber. This progressive damping delivers faster follow-up shots, better control, and less shooter fatigue.
MBS is quieter then a traditional AR15 buffer system and gets rid of the annoying "twang" from the milspec spring.
If you are a fan of a flash hider as a muzzle device then the MBS is for you. Usually people opt for a muzzle brake or compensator instead of a flashider because it offers more stability and less felt recoil. The MBS now does this for you on the back end of the rifle allowing the use of a flash hider to be more balanced and beneficial for use. This is especially true for those that use a flash hider combo for suppressed systems.
Offers the option of not using a muzzle brake or compensator and not dealng with obnoxious muzzle concussion or heavy gas blowback. Or if that is not a factor you can use in conjunction with your muzzle brake for increased recoil reduction.
The MBS thrives when using suppressors. Suppressors increase gas pressure and max out traditional springs, requiring heavier buffers that slow the rate of fire. Suppressors typically increase mechanical recoil and this is easily mitigated by use of the magnetic fields.
The MBS is a true drop-in replacement. Install it like any other mil-spec tube, then pull the release tab to activate the system.

Important: The MBS is not designed for disassembly. High-power magnets inside can cause injury if mishandled. Tampering voids the warranty. Use caution during installation or removal (vice and included tools required for install).

I have just now gotten back from the range for testing. I put this on an older AR build that has a Superlative Arms piston for a 16" barrel. Shot supressed. It was a drastic improvement in how the recoil stayed level and felt softer. Once I adjusted the gas block, it was just functioning flawlessly. I am very pleased with the results. It shoots with the recoil impulse comparable to my $2400 target AR that has a a top of the line hydraulic system and is tuned to my handloads.

Only gave this 5 stars because I can't give it 6. Y'all are probably conservative in your recoil reduction claim. It's almost unfathomable how this thing feels to shoot. One hand on the foregrip, the other BARELY holding onto the grip while holding the rifle away from the body and it moves straight back about 2 inches SMOOTHLY with an easy return to zero. 14.5" 5.56 with SilencerCo 3 port brake. Makes double taps at distance on a bipod/squeeze bag laughably simple. Installation instructions are straightforward and simple. Even had to take the tube off at 1 point and because I kept the shipping retaining pin that was not difficult at all. This thing makes SS (FRT) mode so much fun!

Added to my suppressed 11.5” with SA adjustable piston kit. It took my already very small muzzle movement to ZERO. Double tapping 10” steel at 220yrd with a red dot and 3x flip up. Looking forward to additional testing.
